There are a number of well established Fell Running Clubs that serve the Yorkshire Dales and most cater for all ages and all standards.
If you are interested in Fell Running and new to the sport or, have just moved to the area then take the opportunity of contacting a club to find out which one might suit you best.

Wharfedale Harriers - based in and around Silsden/Skipton, Wharfedale Harriers came into being in 1998 and was initially formed to bring together people with an interest in off road running, mainly Fell Running. Again, they organise a number of fell races & recently took over the ‘Woodentops’ races from Dave & Eileen Woodhead.

Howgill Harriers - Centred around Kirkby Stephen & Sedbergh the club was formed in 1986 by running enthusiasts. They welcome members of all ages and abilities, and the focus is on enjoyment!
Helm Hill - Helm Hill Runners is a Kendal based running club. Formed in 1990, they currently have around 250 members about half of which are juniors. Amongst other things, they organise and run the very successful and popular Kendal Winter League!
Swaledale Outdoor Club - Formed in 1966 and based around Richmond in Swaledale this club caters for a number of different outdoor activities including the organisation of the very successful, Swaledale Marathon
Settle Harriers - Settle Harriers is a small club based at the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Founded in 1987, they are a growing club and organise a number of fell races including Penyghent Fell and Settle Hills.
