Gayle Mill, Nr Hawes in Wensleydale, is a fully restored 19th century state of the art sawmill using water-powered turbines and is owned by the North of England Civic Trust (NECT) and operated by Gayle Mill Trust (GMT).
All visits are by Guided Tour only and two types are offered:
Daily Guided Tours
Monthly Demonstration Tours.
Group Tours are welcome but these must be booked by prior arrangement.

Covering much of TDF2014 Day 1 Route this 4hrs 30m + 30mins lunch tour, starts from Ilkley. Addingham Bypass, Skipton, Kettlewell, Buckden, Thoralby, Bainbridge, Hawes, Buttertubs Pass, Muker, Gunnerside, Reeth, Leyburn, Middleham, East Witton, Masham, West Tanfield, Ripon, Ripley, Killinghall, finishing in Harrogate.

Raydale Preserves is a family run business established in 1978. Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales they make all of their products on site in a converted farm building.
All products are made by hand, from topping strawberries to sticking on labels.
Visits are from May until the end of October. There are five permissive footpaths for your enjoyment, so you can take in the magnificent views Raydale and Semerwater
